This installation grip is used for fastening, holding and relieving strain when hanging mobile cables and lines, e.g. for cranes, shafts and elevators. This type of installation has the advantage over clamping the cable that it avoids placing a load on a particular point of the cable or line, thus considerably preventing damage to the wires. The double layer braiding is made from galvanized steel wire with one suspension eye (round eye thimble) pressed on, both ends open.
