These stockings are designed for joining cables or ropes with the same diameter and without a lot of twist. This way it is, for example, possible to change crane ropes in one run or to include two cable lengths at once. In case of increased torsion of the cables etc. we recommend using single stockings together with respective whirl shackles to compensate for the twist. This mesh of galvanized steel braids is woven with two strands, open on both ends and has no eyelets.
